 Description |
| NAET (Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique) is based on energetic principals. It is a process of testing the change in the energy state of the body when exposed to allergens. Using Electro Dermal and Muscle Testing to locate the blockage, the practitioner uses acupressure along the spine, hands, arms, legs and feet to clear the energetic blockage. The patient then must avoid the allergen for 25 hours. This desensitizes the person to the allergen. | ||

| The First Appointment |
The first appointment consists of the intake interview by the Doctor. An Electro Dermal Scan is performed using a computer to determine the allergies that need treatment. Dr. Owens will then give a demonstration of Applied Kinesiology. The appointment for the first treatment will be scheduled at that time. |

| The First Treatment |
The first treatment is called BBF (Brain, Body Functioning). This treatment clears any blockages or obstructions for the energy to flow from the brain, through the organs, energy pathways (meridians) and back to the brain. This balances the body. While the patient holds a vial containing the energetic signature of the allergen, acupressure is administered to the back, points on the arms, hands, legs and feet. The patient holds the vial for another 15-20 minutes. Afterward, the allergen needs to be avoided for 25 hours, to successfully complete the treatment. |

| Basic treatments |
People want to be desensitized to a few particular items like molds, cedar, or ragweed. Before that can be done, there are some BASIC treatments that must be completed. The basic treatments are needed to strengthen the body and boost the immune system. If the patient needs to be cleared for any of these, the Dr. will clear them in a certain prescribed order. Once that is done the Dr. can proceed to other allergens as mentioned above.
